The Quadracci Pavilion has inspired generations of artists, photographers, and creators. To celebrate its 25th anniversary, we invited four illustrators to create original works inspired by this Milwaukee icon—and invite all artists to share their own interpretations.
Gabriela Riveros
Gabriela is a Paraguayan-American illustrator based in Milwaukee. Her digitally rendered work revolves around multicultural identity, history, and mythology.
James Steeno
James is an award-winning full-time watercolor artist based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and is well-known for his artistic portrayals of Wisconsin’s architecture, scenes and subject matter.
Laura Farahzad Mayer
Laura is an artist and educator whose work explores storytelling through bookmaking and printmaking. Laura teaches at MIAD and is proud to call Milwaukee home.
Whitney Anderson
Whitney is a Milwaukee-based graphic designer and illustrator, specializing in hand lettering and bold, graphic, and often vintage-inspired designs.
