Learn + Play
The Milwaukee Art Museum offers a rich variety of programs and resources for teachers and students, families, and adults. Whether you join us for a moment of contemplation or an activity-filled day, the Museum offers opportunities for you to learn about art on your own or in a group. Gather with us by the lake to meet world-renowned artists, engage in lively discussions, and make your own masterpiece.
Teachers Free with ID!
Thanks to the Terri and Verne Holoubek Family Foundation, individual Wisconsin K–12 teachers who present a valid school ID or pay stub will receive free admission to the Museum. Teacher Passes are distributed to the schools directly, at teacher events and conferences, and are also available on-site at the admissions desks. Spread the word to the K–12 educators around you!
Family Audio Guide
The Antenna Audio Family Tour is your personal guide to more than 50 artworks in the Milwaukee Art Museum’ Collection specifically selected to intrigue children. The Family Tour makes learning about art fun for the whole family. Antenna Audio Family Tours may be checked out at the audio guide distribution desk at the entrance to the Collection.
The Family Audio Guide was made possible by grants from the Faye McBeath Foundation, Four-Four Foundation, an anonymous donor, Chris Abele and the Argosy Foundation, and the Schoenleber Foundation.
