
College and University Tours
Gather your group of 10 or more students to explore the Museum. Group tours are available Wednesday–Sunday. Plan your experience with the following tour and pricing information. Request your tour in advance: 6–8 weeks for guided tours; 4 weeks for self-guided.
Tour Information
Guided Tours
Take a tour led by one of the Museum’s expert docents. Choose from several themes: Highlights of the Collection, Museum Architecture, or a Feature Exhibition Tour.
- Tour length: 1 hour
- Tour admission is $5 per student.
- One faculty member/chaperone is required for every group of 10 students; these adults receive free admission.
- Additional adults will be charged the adult group tour rate of $16.
- 6–8 weeks advance booking is required.
- Schedule buses or transportation early, allowing travel time to and from the Museum.
- The Museum does not have lunch facilities. Please plan accordingly.
- Provide final headcount and payment to the Tour Administrator at least 2 weeks prior to your visit.*
- Review Museum Policies prior to visit.
*Payment and Cancellation Policy: Final headcount and payment are due two weeks in advance for group tours. No refunds/exchanges will be given with less than one-week advance cancellation or if attendance decreases less than one week before the tour.

Museum Architecture
Explore the iconic architecture of the Museum itself, examining the buildings designed by Eero Saarinen, David Kahler, and Santiago Calatrava.

Feature Exhibition
Explore the works of art in one of the Museum’s current feature exhibitions.
Self-Guided Tours
Explore the Museum at your own pace. Receive a discounted rate on group admission.

Audio Guides
Explore the Museum with the experts by listening to the free audio guides. Bring your headphones* and mobile device to engage with the works on view and the building architecture at mam.org/guide.
*Headphones are not provided.
Accommodations and Accessibility
- The Museum is wheelchair and stroller accessible. Wheelchairs, if needed, are available from the admissions desk.
- Service animals are welcome. Assistive listening technology, ASL interpreters, and bilingual tours are available if requested six weeks in advance.
- Please indicate any specialized information or assistance needed when booking a tour.
