Member Preview Day and Celebration: “Always New: The Posters of Jules Chéret”

Be among the first to explore Always New: The Posters of Jules Chéret, featuring more than 100 vibrant and dynamic posters by Jules Chéret, the “father of the modern poster.” Explore his colorful, large-scale works advertising popular products and pastimes enjoyed by Parisians during the late 19th century.

Celebrate the exhibition with live music, appetizers and hors d’oeuvres, and a cash bar beginning at 5 p.m.

Member Preview Day and the Opening Celebration are free for Members. Advanced ticket reservations are available but they are not required to attend.

Event attendees are encouraged to wear masks while inside the Museum. This recommendation follows CDC guidance for counties with a high COVID-19 community level.
