Artist Gallery Talk: “Scandinavian Design and the United States”

Join artist Rosanne Somerson, whose Water Ribbon table is on view in Scandinavian Design and the United States, and Danish-born artist Marie Herwald Hermann for a tour that explores culture, craft, and design. Each will talk about the impact of Scandinavian culture on contemporary design and their own practice.
Somerson is president emerita of the Rhode Island School of Design; Hermann is assistant professor of ceramics at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
This drop-in experience is included with Museum admission and is free for Members.
