Join in the Milwaukee Art Museum’s annual celebration of art, flowers—and spring! Throughout the galleries, experience the art-inspired floral creations of the region’s top designers.

Plan your visit with friends and family to experience spring blossoming into the galleries. Milwaukee’s kickoff to spring will feature:

  • Breathtaking Floral Design: See how local floral artisans have interpreted works of art in the collection through flowers, and take a closer look at the works on view with the Zoom-In Scavenger Hunt.
  • Scents and Sounds: Stop and smell the flowers in the Windhover Hall indoor garden while you listen to live music.
  • Spring Shopping: Visit the Museum Store to find springtime accessories and décor.
  • Bites and Sips: Recharge with a selection of sandwiches and bakery, as well as specialty tea and coffee crafted by Discourse: Coffee Workshop. Menus include vegan, gluten-free, and kid-friendly items.
  • Create and Play: Visit the Kohl’s Art Studio, open Saturday–Sunday, 10 a.m.–4 p.m., to make floral-inspired art.

  • Art Advocate level ($200) Members and above can reserve timed tickets beginning at 9 a.m. and sign up for guided tours Friday–Sunday at 9:30 a.m.

Thursday, April 20 9 a.m.–8 p.m.

Book your timed tickets after noon to see the fully completed floral displays. Prior to noon, witness the skill and finesse of local artisans while they construct their floral arrays in the galleries.

  • Art in Bloom tickets for Members are $31 $10. Member kids ages 17 and under receive free tickets.
  • Art Advocate level ($200) Members and above can reserve timed tickets beginning at 9 a.m., an hour before the event opens to all, and sign up for guided tours Friday–Sunday at 9:30 a.m.
  • Benefactor level ($2,500) and above are invited to enjoy complimentary coffee, mimosas, and pastries from 9 to 10 a.m. each day of the event.
