Member Preview Day + Opening Conversation: “Currents 40: Widline Cadet”
As a Member, enjoy early access to Currents 40: Widline Cadet in the Herzfeld Center for Photography and Media Arts. In her first museum solo exhibition in the United States, artist Widline Cadet debuts her project Seremoni Disparisyon (Ritual [Dis]Appearance) in full. Complete as of 2025, the ambitious series explores Black diasporic life and survival based on Cadet’s lived experience of emigrating from Haiti to the United States. Join us in the evening for a conversation between the artist and Kristen Gaylord, Herzfeld Curator of Photography and Media Arts.
