Join the Milwaukee Art Museum in celebrating the life of artist, musician, and longtime collaborator Jahmés “Tony” Finlayson, who passed away on July 10, 2023, at the age of 65. Footage of Jahmés’s most recent Museum performance will be screened on a loop in Lubar Auditorium and the Kohl’s Haitian Gallery, where he often performed in the gathering space known as the lakou during family events. All are welcome to experience Jahmés’s music and to sit, reflect, dance, and celebrate him in any way that honors his beautiful life and legacy.
