The trustees of the Milwaukee Art Museum and Dr. Kim Sajet, Donna and Donald Baumgartner Director invite you to the President’s Circle Preview Celebration for Water’s Edge: The Art of Truman Lowe. Known for his striking sculptures and drawings inspired by rivers, woodlands, and Hooçak (Ho-Chunk) cultural traditions, this major retrospective brings together nearly 50 works spanning Lowe’s career, offering visitors a chance to experience his deep connection to water, Woodland structures, memory, place, and Wisconsin’s landscape.
