Enjoy conversation, meet new people, and connect over the ideas explored in The Shakers: A World in the Making before continuing the evening at the Expert Series. Inspired by the exhibition, the event explores how the Shakers’ principles of community, purposeful design, and minimalism shaped daily life and continue to influence makers, artists, and designers today.
The Shakers: A World in the Making is organized by the Milwaukee Art Museum, the Vitra Design Museum, the Institute of Contemporary Art Philadelphia, and the Wüstenrot Foundation, in collaboration with Shaker Museum, Chatham, New York.
