Come to the Museum for a fresh look at the themes of home, family, and freedom. Don’t miss the teen-led tours, interactive workshops, spoken word, live music, art exhibitions, and more—all inspired by the exhibitions Family Pictures and The San Quentin Project: Nigel Poor and the Men of San Quentin State Prison.
Hosted by the Milwaukee Art Museum’s Satellite teen interns, Teen Night is an evening of art, creativity, and community.
Special guests include Kiran Vedula (QtheSun) and teens of COA’s music production program, Still Waters Collective, and the Youth Justice Network. The #SeeMeBecause Portrait Project exhibition, featuring works by students in Art Start and MPS Turnaround Arts, will be on view through the weekend.
Teen Night and its activities are free with Museum admission and free for Museum Members. Student memberships will be available at a special one-night-only price of $5.
