Experience Homelands: Mnë’nának, Māēnāēwah, Tešišik through a special gallery talk led by Thomas Busciglio-Ritter, Abert Family Associate Curator of American Art. Focusing on Landscape by Ojibwe artist George Morrison, on view for a limited time and on loan from Art Bridges, the discussion explores Morrison’s evolving artistic practice, the work’s formal qualities, and its place within the Museum’s gallery dedicated to Indigenous art, histories, and living cultures.
