First Stage at MAM: Spring Bugs
Join First Stage for an imaginative, hand-on exploration of The Very Hungry Caterpillar. Using your voice, body, and big imagination, you’ll act out the story together in this playful, interactive experience designed for young learners. After the program, head into the European galleries to spot insects hidden in paintings from the Museum’s collection, then drop into the Kohl’s Art Studio to create your own mixed-media moving bug anytime between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
This experience is free with Museum admission. Kids 12 and under are always free, thanks to an anonymous donor.
This program celebrates the legacy of Dr. Alfred Bader, whose passion for art and community continues to inspire creativity at the Museum. Made possible by Bader Philanthropies.
