Studio Sundays: Día de los Muertos

Gather with family and friends to celebrate the beauty and tradition of Día de los Muertos. Spend a fun-filled afternoon together enjoying hands-on art activities and performances, adding to a community ofrenda, and more!

 

Lineup

11 a.m.–3 p.m. | Visit the galleries, borrow free activities from the ArtPack Station, see student artworks, meet local organizations, make art with guest artists Rodrigo Carapia, Isa Castro, and Walker’s Point Center for the Arts, and contribute to the Community Ofrenda with artists Gabriela Marván and Yesica Coria.
11:30 a.m. | Enjoy a musical performance by Mariachi Infantil and Mariachi Juvenil of the Latino Arts Strings Program.
2 p.m. | Experience a dance performance by Ometochtli Mexican Folk Dance.
