Winter Break Fun

Cozy up at the Museum for family-friendly fun that lets your creativity shine. Make your own masterpieces in the Kohl’s Art Studio, gather around for musical children’s book reading, and explore the galleries with activities that reveal surprises around every corner.
This event is included with Museum admission and is free for Members. Admission for kids 12 and under is always free, thanks to an anonymous donor.
Lineup
Kohl’s Art Studio | 10 a.m.–4 p.m.
Create a sculpture inspired by Shiro Kuramata’s “Miss Blanche” Chair and its distinct floating flowers.
Make-and-Take SculpturePack* | 10 a.m.–4 p.m.
Find inspiration in the sculptures throughout the Museum. Sit down in front of your favorite and use felt and Velcro to build your own artwork. You can use the supplies in the galleries or at home to sculpt with again and again!
Musical Story Time in the Galleries | 10:30 a.m.
Join Mr. Steve, a regular guest of Play Date with Art, for a story and sing-along in this bonus edition of our weekly Story Time in the Galleries.
ArtPack Tour | 1 p.m.
Embark on an adventure through the galleries with Xoe Fiss, director of youth and family programs, and discover the many ways to get creative with the free activities available at ArtPack Station.
