Group Tours

The Milwaukee Art Museum is an intriguing destination for group outings. Tuesday–Sunday, skilled docents lead tours for groups of 15 or more. Reservations should be made 6–8 weeks in advance.

Standard Group Tour
  • $12 Adult/$5 College
  • Includes Museum admission, self-guided touring, and 10% discount in the Museum Store
  • Two-day advance booking required
Docent-Guided Tour
  • $12 Adult/$5 College (plus $25 fee for each docent)
  • Includes Museum admission, one docent for every 15 visitors, and 10% discount in the Museum Store
  • Eight-week advance booking required
Adult Lunch-and-Learn Guided Tours
  • $25 Adult
  • Includes Museum admission, one docent for every 15 visitors or use of audio guides, boxed lunch, and 10% discount in the Museum Store
  • Eight-week advance booking required

Rates are subject to change; book early to get the best rates for 2015-2016. Group visits will not be accommodated on the following days: Sept 3, Oct 1, Nov 5, and Dec 3, 2015, or the first Friday of every month in 2016, due to high traffic volume

Tour Topics

  • The Feature Exhibition Tour explores the works of art in the Museum’s current feature exhibition.
  • Collection Galleries Tour take a tour of the Museum’s collection highlights, or select a tour focused on one of the core collections.
  • The Architecture Tour looks at the historic architecture of the Museum itself, examining the buildings designed by Eero Saarinen, David Kahler, and Santiago Calatrava.
