Saturday, March 8, 2014, Noon-4 PM
Inspired by the quilts on view in the exhibition Uncommon Folk: Traditions in American Art, try a variety of quilt-making techniques with members of the Wisconsin Museum of Quilts & Fiber Arts (WMQFA), in fifty-minute classes. Explore crazy quilt stitching, appliqué, Gee’s Bend improvisation, and hand quilting. Quilters of all levels are welcome; you need only bring a pair of scissors.
Register before February 28 at 414-224-3803.
The cost for the day is $45 / $40 for Museum Members and WMQFA members.
