Artist inquiries
We appreciate your interest in submitting your work. At this time, however, the Milwaukee Art Museum is unable to review unsolicited offers of artists’ work for the collection or exhibitions.
Donations of art
The Milwaukee Art Museum will consider donations of significant works that advance its collecting priorities.
If you wish to offer a work of art to the Museum, email curatorial@mam.org with details about the object. Please include the artist’s name; the artwork’s date, medium, and dimensions; the provenance (history of ownership), if known; and images. Please also specify whether you are offering the work for sale or donation.
The Museum cannot assist with conservation, preservation, or art handling.
Appraisals
The Museum does not identify, authenticate, or appraise works of art. To find a qualified appraiser, consider contacting: |
