Frequently asked questions
MAM After Dark is designed for guests who are 18 and older, but all ages are welcome. Kids 12 and under always receive free admission, thanks to an anonymous donor. Member kids under 18 also receive free admission. Please bring a valid photo ID if you plan to consume alcoholic beverages at the event.
Tickets include complimentary light bites and all special programming, plus entrance to the galleries from 7 to 10:30 p.m.
Complimentary light bites are served until 9:00 p.m. The Museum Café is open until 10 p.m. and the cash bar is open until 10:30 p.m. The bar serves beer and wine, plus a signature cocktail and mocktail. Please bring a valid photo ID if you plan to consume alcoholic beverages at the event.
Members enjoy access to a private lounge with a bar serving a special signature cocktail and mocktail only for Members.
Get to the Museum by bike, bus, or car. The Reiman Bridge, a pedestrian suspension bridge, connects the Museum campus to downtown Milwaukee. The nearest bus stop is located at the intersection of Prospect Ave and Mason Street. Bike racks are available on the Museum grounds. The Oak Leaf bike trail passes right alongside the Museum.
Parking is available in the Calatrava underground garage and in Museum Center Park. Free street parking spaces near the Museum are limited.
