Community Weekend

Celebrate the Museum's 125th anniversary all weekend long with FREE admission! Be one of the first to see the 30 Americans exhibition, a dynamic collection of art by contemporary African American artists, and explore the three exhibitions on the Museum's history. Enjoy special programs and activities for ALL ages—from hands-on art projects in the Kohl's Art Generation Studio to live music and dance performances, and tours led by special guests.

Sunday’s lineup:
11 a.m. | Music

Fox & Branch perform a classic lineup of American folk songs.

12:30 p.m. | Dance
Dance company Jam AK Jam presents an interactive African drum and dance performance.

2 p.m. | Film: Mark My Words
This feature-length documentary produced and directed by local Emmy Award–winning director Brad Pruitt chronicles a day in the life of Milwaukee poets, exploring the power of the spoken word and its ability to transform people and communities.
