The lecture is free with general admission and free for Museum Members.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Dietz is currently the artistic director of North America&#8217;s largest festival of digital arts, the Biennial 01SJ Global Festival of Art on the Edge. He has also founded new media programs for the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis and the Smithsonian American Art Museum. The <em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2008\/08\/17\/arts\/design\/17bloo.html\">New York Times<\/a> <\/em>recently covered his newest project, The UnConvention\u2014a series of artistic and educational activities that led up to the 2008 Republican National Convention in the Twin Cities.<\/p>\n<p>Dietz will present on the future of the digital arts while commenting on the Museum&#8217;s newest exhibition, <em>Act\/React: Interactive Art<\/em>.
