\n<\/a>Milwaukee Art Museum hires new executive chef<\/strong>
\n<\/strong>-Zak Groh to take over Museum\u2019s culinary program-<\/em><\/h1>\n
Milwaukee, Wis. \u2013 April 12, 2017 \u2013 <\/strong>The Milwaukee Art Museum is excited to announce that Zak Groh has been appointed executive chef of its culinary program, including Caf\u00e9 Calatrava and events. Groh comes to the Museum with 16 years of professional experience in the hospitality and restaurant industries.<\/p>\n \u201cWe are delighted to welcome Chef Zak Groh to our team at the Milwaukee Art Museum,\u201d said Jeff Cook, food and beverage director. \u201cHe brings an incredible wealth of experience that we know our visitors and Members will appreciate\u2014and taste!\u2014with each visit.\u201d<\/p>\n Groh, who is a Milwaukee native, most recently worked as the owner and operator of Whisk Culinary, a boutique catering company servicing the aviation market in Milwaukee and Chicago. \n<\/u><\/strong>Home to a rich collection of more than 30,000 works of art, the Milwaukee Art Museum is located on the shores of Lake Michigan. Its campus includes the Santiago Calatrava\u2013designed Quadracci Pavilion, annually showcasing three feature exhibitions, and the Eero Saarinen\u2013designed Milwaukee County War Memorial Center and David Kahler\u2012designed addition. The Museum recently reopened its Permanent Collection Galleries, debuting nearly 2,500 world-class works of art within dramatically transformed galleries and a new lakefront addition. This reimagined space also allows for the presentation of additional changing exhibitions.<\/p>\n
