This landmark special exhibition features sweeping, epic landscapes of the America\u2019s iconic natural wonders, and tells the stories of the people and places that shaped the nation.<\/p>\n<p>February is Black History Month, and families are invited to explore the sights, sounds and voices of Haiti in the new Kohl\u2019s Art Generation Lab: Haitian Art, which\u00a0holds one of the most important collections of Haitian art since the massive earthquake that struck the area in 2010. Kids can create their own Haitian-inspired artwork in the <a href=\"http:\/\/mam.org\/artgeneration\/programs\/studio\/\" target=\"_blank\">Kohl\u2019s Art Generation Studio<\/a>, and on Saturdays, enjoy <a href=\"http:\/\/mam.org\/artgeneration\/programs\/kohls-art-generation-lab\/\" target=\"_blank\">performances<\/a> by community-based storyteller Carmen Quinlivan (<span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_841623160\"><span class=\"aQJ\">Feb. 6<\/span><\/span>), musicians Jahmes Findlayson &amp; Dumah Saafir (<span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_841623161\"><span class=\"aQJ\">Feb. 13<\/span><\/span>), the dancers of Ko-thi Dance Company (<span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_841623162\"><span class=\"aQJ\">Feb. 20<\/span><\/span>) and festival music with Emily Laxner, Kantara Souffant and the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music (<span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_841623163\"><span class=\"aQJ\">Feb. 27<\/span><\/span>).<\/p>\n<p>Opening <span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_841623164\"><span class=\"aQJ\">Feb. 20<\/span><\/span>, <i>The Collaboratory<\/i> is a new and unique interactive gallery space co-created with local teen leaders in the Museum\u2019s teen programs. This unexpected treasure trove of arms and armor and precious objects from around the world connects past and present in the Richard and Susan Pieper Family Education Gallery.<\/p>\n<p>The Museum is also the perfect place to celebrate Valentine\u2019s Day.\u00a0The award-winning culinary team will host an intimate <a href=\"http:\/\/mam.org\/calendar\/events\/index.php?eID=7532\" target=\"_blank\">multi-course Valentine Dinner<\/a> in Windhover Hall on<span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_841623165\"><span class=\"aQJ\">Saturday, Feb. 13<\/span><\/span>, while the Museum Store offers thoughtful and exquisitely-crafted gifts designed to make an impression, <a href=\"http:\/\/store.mam.org\/cat-17-1-133\/for-him.htm\" target=\"_blank\">for him<\/a> or <a href=\"http:\/\/store.mam.org\/cat-17-1-131\/for-her.htm\" target=\"_blank\">for her<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Visitors can enjoy half-off admission every Saturday in February by presenting a receipt from Sendik\u2019s Food Market.
