Admission is free for all individuals, and it is the public\u2019s last chance to see <a title=\"Posters of Paris homepage\" href=\"http:\/\/www.mam.org\/posters-of-paris\" target=\"_blank\"><em>Posters of Paris: Toulouse-Lautrec and His Contemporaries<\/em><\/a> before it closes.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are thrilled to be able to offer this opportunity to our visitors,\u201d said Museum director Dan Keegan. \u201cSo far, over 35,000 people have participated in Target Free First Thursdays, and over 100,000 people have experienced <em>Posters of Paris<\/em> here at the Museum this summer.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Opening to the public on September 6 is <a title=\"Grete Marks homepage\" href=\"http:\/\/mam.org\/exhibitions\/details\/grete-marks.php\" target=\"_blank\"><em>Grete Marks: When Modern Was Degenerate<\/em><\/a>, an exhibition devoted the Bauhaus-trained German ceramicist and entrepreneur, Grete Marks. A special 6:15 p.m. lecture with the exhibition curator, Mel Buchanan, and Grete Marks\u2019 daughter, Dr. Francis Marks, is scheduled in Lubar Auditorium.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Target Free First Thursdays\" href=\"http:\/\/www.mam.org\/calendar\/events\/index.php?com=detail&amp;eID=3427\" target=\"_blank\">Target Free First Thursdays<\/a> is an extension of the partnership the company has with the Museum.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAt Target, our local grants are making a difference in the communities we serve,\u201d said Laysha Ward, president, community relations, Target. \u201cWe\u2019re proud to partner with the Milwaukee Art Museum as part of our ongoing commitment to give back to the communities where our guests and team members live and work.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Target Free First Thursdays provides all Museum visitors with free admission on the first Thursday of each month.
