Milwaukee, Wis<\/strong>. \u2013 With the holiday season starting earlier each year, the Milwaukee Art Museum Store has made holiday shopping as easy and convenient as possible, focusing on price points for all budgets, an eye for the eco-friendly, and a tilt toward the creative.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Milwaukee Art Museum Store is the perfect place for holiday shopping,\u201d said Karen McNeely, director of retail operations. \u201cIt\u2019s convenient, unique, and there\u2019s literally something for everyone, from the seasoned art collector to the design aficionado to the jewelry fan to kids.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Museum Store<\/a> is located inside the Calatrava-designed addition to the Museum and is free to access; you do not have to pay Museum admission to come shopping,\u201d said McNeely. \u201cThere\u2019s convenient, underground parking and unique items that you will not find in any other place in town.\u201d<\/p>\n

Among the items McNeely says are most popular with shoppers are household items<\/a> and personal items<\/a>. There\u2019s also a large selection of children\u2019s toys<\/a> and educational options<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Also available are specially-themed items for the Museum\u2019s current feature exhibition, Impressionism: Masterworks on Paper<\/a><\/em>, on view through January 8, 2012. The Museum has a second retail store located inside the exhibition hall with items related to the show, including books, clothes, hats, jewelry, and home d\u00e9cor.<\/p>\n

\nThe Museum Store is open Tuesday\u2013Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Thursdays until 8 p.m.<\/p>\n
