\nIgnite your imaginative side and celebrate community in two different art-making zones. In the Kohl\u2019s Art Studio, create your own symbols and make a visionary drawing inspired by African American artist Lo\u00efs Mailou Jones and her painting, Ascent of Ethiopia<\/em>. In the Milwaukee Room, join artist Tia Richardson, author of Caring All Around Me<\/em>, as she leads you through activities that use caring attitudes to turn negative messages into caring ones (activity ends at 4 p.m.).<\/p>\n

JustUs and Books + Babbling Babes story time and community gathering | 10:30\u201311:30 a.m.<\/strong>
\nGather to hear a story time with Dannette Justus of JustUs and Books, create a drawing inspired by what you have seen and heard, and build meaningful connections and community with other parents of children ages 5 and under.<\/p>\n

Film screening | 10:30 a.m.\u20135 p.m.<\/strong>
\nReconnect with the internationally beloved Haitian Art Collection, located in the heart of the Museum\u2019s collection on the Mezzanine level.<\/p>\n

Community engagement fair | Noon\u2013 7 p.m.<\/strong>
\nMeet several Milwaukee organizations improving the lives of our communities, by promoting health, love, and well-being, and supporting Black-owned businesses.<\/p>\n

Sound Bowl Healing | Noon\u20131 p.m.<\/strong>
\nPause for a meditative and liberating experience with singing bowls led by Kristin Urban.<\/p>\n

Live DJ | 1\u20137 p.m.<\/strong>
\nGroove to the music of DJ A-Biz (1\u20133 p.m.) and DJ DRiPSweat (4\u20137 p.m.) in Windhover Hall.<\/p>\n

Drop-in tour | 3\u20134:00 p.m.<\/strong>
\nDiscover artworks that shine a light on the beauty and joy of love in all its forms. Tours will be joined by an ASL interpreter.<\/p>\n
