DESCRIPTION:The Trustees of the Milwaukee Art Museum and Dr. Kim Sajet\, Donna and Donald Baumgartner Director invite you to celebrate the beautiful\, strange\, and deeply personal world of Gertrude Abercrombie: The Whole World Is a Mystery\, in the first nationally touring retrospective of Abercrombie’s enigmatic paintings. Enjoy a special introduction to the exhibition led by Thomas Busciglio-Ritter\, Abert Family Associate Curator of American Art\, Milwaukee Art Museum\, and Sarah Humphreville\, Lunder Curator of American Art\, Colby College Museum of Art.
