Opening: Frank Lloyd Wright: Buildings for the Prairie

Friday, July 28, 2017, 10 AM–5 PM

In celebration of Frank Lloyd Wright’s 150th birthday, this exhibition
presents a selection of the famed architect’s drawings and related examples of
his furniture, stained glass, and textiles. Featured are designs from Studies
and Executed Buildings, a two-volume monograph popularly called the Wasmuth
Portfolio after its German publisher, Ernst Wasmuth. The portfolio is
considered the most significant collection of Wright’s early work.
