Be among the first to see Rashid Johnson: Hail We Now Sing Joy, featuring new paintings and sculptures by the Chicago native Forbes called “one of the four or five most important contemporary American artists.”
• Performances at 1:30 and 5:30 p.m.: Pianist Antoine Baldwin performs from within Antoine’s Organ, the largest of Rashid Johnson’s architectural grid installations ever shown in the United States.
• Lecture* at 6:15 p.m. with Rashid Johnson and Marcelle Polednik, PhD, Donna and Donald Baumgartner Director
• Appetizers and cash bar beginning at 5 p.m.
* Lecture is ticketed. Tickets are first come, first served from Admissions starting at 10 a.m. on event day only. Number allotted depends on membership level.
