MAM After Dark: Warhol

Kick off a fresh new season of MAM After Dark with a sneak preview of the most anticipated exhibition of the year—Andy Warhol: The Last Decade—before it opens to the public! Several of Warhol’s screen test videos (with Dennis Hopper, Lou Reed, Salvador Dali, etc.) will be on view, as will Chelsea Girls, his first major commercial success. Speaking of film: Rub elbows with the patrons, staff, and filmmakers of Milwaukee Film at the Milwaukee Film Festival after party beginning at 9 p.m.
DJ Madhatter (aka Jordan Lee) of 88Nine Radio Milwaukee promises to deliver a sweet set of rockin’ tunes throughout the night, and the DIY Station and Photo Booth return so that you, too, can claim your “fifteen minutes of fame”!

The Museum will be presenting works from Herb and Dorothy’s collection in Fifty Works for Fifty States: The Dorothy and Herbert Vogel Collection, December 17, 2009–February 28, 2010.
