July is DIY design month in the Kohl’s Art Generation Studio! Add some creative time to your summer vacation with your very own family design team. Bring the whole family to explore how artists imagine and create unique designs before embarking on your own design challenge. The studio is open 10 a.m.–4 p.m.; drop in for five minutes or stay all day!
Story Time in Chair Park
SATURDAYS: JULY 4–JULY 25, 10:30 AM
Join us for a special story time in Chair Park! In honor of design month, we will read our stories sitting on chairs that are hard and soft, curvy and straight, as we hear a special story and try out some unique chair designs from the past 400 years.
Kohl’s Color Wheels at Summerfest
DAILY: THROUGH SUN, JULY 5, NOON–6 PM
The Museum’s mobile art creation station will be parked on the Summerfest grounds every day of the festival, offering fun art activities for kids! Activities change daily; make bottle cap jewelry, splatter drawings, animal sculptures, and more. All activities are free with admission to the festival. Visit mam.org/artgeneration for more details.
