The Collectors’ Corner
Founded as a support group of the Milwaukee Art Museum in 1948, The Collectors’ Corner promotes the study of decorative arts and antiques. The Collectors’ Corner supports the permanent collection, programming, and exhibitions at the Museum. Through regular lunch meetings, the group offers an opportunity for members to share their interest in collecting in the field of the decorative arts.
- Behind-the-scenes tours of exhibitions in the Museum’s American Collections and Decorative Arts Gallery, as well as of other regional museums
- Small group tours and parties at private collections
- The opportunity to vote on acquisitions for the permanent Collection
- Six luncheon meetings per year, and the annual meeting, with lectures on decorative arts exhibitions at the Museum and other relevant topics (most lunches included with dues)
