Change is ever present in art and culture, and never more so than at the Milwaukee Art Museum this year, as the Collection Galleries undergo a major renovation. The annual Bal du Lac, Milwaukee’s renowned trendsetting event, embraces and celebrates change, and, in 2015, it again raises the bar.
On Saturday, April 25th, 2015 Bal du Lac will transform the Quadracci Pavilion for a memorable party experience, influenced by the upcoming stellar exhibitions Inspiring Beauty: 50 Years of Ebony Fashion Fair and Van Gogh to Pollock: Modern Rebels. Guests can look forward to extraordinary fashion, edgy entertainment, luxurious auction items, sumptuous cocktails and cuisine, and other engaging encounters.
Proceeds from the evening support the Milwaukee Art Museum and its work to collect, preserve, and present world-class art to the community. Central to the Museum’s mission is its role as a premier educational resource; its leading programs inform, enrich, and inspire through a variety of classes, tours, and events for all ages.
