Characters one and all—find your stage (or your place for great people watching!) at the Museum during a thespian-inspired MAM After Dark. Once Upon a Time celebrates the lifelong love affair that nineteenth-century American portrait painter Thomas Sully had with the theatre. Experience the “craft” as presented by The Quasimondo, Milwaukee Physical Theatre; learn presence on the dance floor from Fred Astaire Dance Studio; and play detective in the galleries with Fairy Tale bingo. The soundtrack will be provided, live, by Scarring Party and DJ SLYM; “enchanted” food, by Elephant Café. Gather round at 8 p.m. for the wickedly animated storytelling of curator William Rudolph, in a feature exhibition gallery tour.
