Experience art with your family at Kohl’s Art Generation Family Sundays, the Museum’s lively event that happens five times a year! Enjoy hands-on art activities, interactive performances, family tours, visiting artists, and more! These events are free with Museum admission and for kids twelve and under. Free for Boys and Girls Club of Greater Milwaukee with their membership card or invite sheet.

Discover the many faces of portraiture. Gather inspiration for creating your own artworks from the portraits of people and animals in the Museum’s collection. Learn to draw facial features, make an expressionist portrait, sculpt a head, and more during this activity-filled day.
Kohl’s Art Generation Family Sundays: The Power of Posters
SUNDAY, MAY 7, 2017, 10 AM–4 PM
Step into the exciting world of design in the exhibition How Posters Work. Experiment with different combinations of words and pictures as you invent your own alphabet, create an advertisement, and design a book cover. Try your hand at drawing, collage, and printmaking, and even meet local designers!
Kohl’s Art Generation Family Sundays: The Great Art Adventure
SUNDAY, JULY 23, 2017, 10 AM–4 PM
Grab a Museum passport and travel through time and around the world in the Collection Galleries—completing challenges along the way! Solve an artful puzzle, “act out” a painting, talk with artists working in the galleries, and more!
