Kohl’s Art Generation Family Sundays:
Día de los Muertos
Sunday, October 18, 10 AM–4 PM
Paint your face like a sugar skull, dance to mariachi music, and honor the memory of loved ones as the Museum observes Día de los Muertos, the Mexican Day of the Dead celebration. Make an artful addition to a communal ofrenda (memorial altar), enjoy traditional folkloric dance presented by local performers, and delight in bright colors and vivid symbols as you learn about this unique south-of-the-border tradition.
Admission is a $5 Suggested Donation. Help support the Museum while the Collection Galleries are undergoing construction and the next feature exhibition is being installed.
