THURSDAYS, 10 AM–7 PM
Special Hours:
Memorial Day–Labor Day: Open MONDAY, 10 AM–4 PM

Stop by the Kohl’s Art Generation Studio to create art inspired by the artwork in the Museum. Each month features a different theme, and the projects are always changing. All this month, make art in the round. Create sculptures from a variety of materials as you consider balance, space, and surface. Use additive and subtractive methods with clay, and then practice your cutting and construction skills in metal. Study the work of artists Martin Puryear and Kiki Smith in the Museum’s Collection for inspiration. We’ll learn about process through the work of Eva Hesse, and then design a maquette for an awe-inspiring installation
