MAM After Dark: Date Night

Cozy up with your significant other, or celebrate with a gaggle of friends: It’s Sweetest Day Eve at the Museum!

• Channel your inner artist alongside pros from Wine and Canvas, who will guide your art experience, or paint whatever moves you at the moment (limited space available; $20 fee includes canvas, painting supplies, artistic assistance, and a glass of wine, beer, or nonalcoholic beverage)
• Request a serenade for your sweetie, or sing along to a new pop classic with a live performance from Dueling Pianos
• Create a unique flower vessel inspired by Pinterest at the wine vase station
• Taste samples from the city’s Best Wine Bar and Best Bar for a First Date, Balzac, then visit its comfortable and elegant location (1716 North Arlington Place) for the official after-party

2015 Skate America is a world-class international figure skating competition featuring Olympic and World medalists. The first event in the 2015 ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating it features 60 athletes representing 12 nations competing over three days in Ladies, Men’s, Pairs and Ice Dance. The competition, set for Oct. 23-25 at UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena, will mark the first time that Milwaukee has hosted a major international figure skating event. Other stops on the 2015 Grand Prix Series include Skate Canada, Cup of China, Trophee Eric Bompard, Rostelecom Cup and NHK Trophy.
