Northwestern Mutual Foundation presents
MAM AFTER DARK: Get Lucky!
Dance the night away with Milwaukee’s own Frogwater, performing
Celtic to Delta blues, classical to pop—together with a healthy
dose of unique, categorization-defying music to fill out the mix.
SPECIALTY IRISH BEER TASTING
Kick off the celebration with free samples of ale from the
Emerald Isle, plus Happy Hour specials and snacks courtesy
of Café Calatrava.
ACCIDENTAL GENIUS: ART FROM THE ANTHONY PETULLO COLLECTION
Brilliant in color, scope, and technique, the modern self-taught art in this exhibition highlights the impulse to create. These artists didn’t know the rules, so they didn’t follow them.
THE TOOL AT HAND
What could you make with a tool if left to your own devices? From
spray foam to a 3-D printer—a variety of tools were used by the
sixteen artists represented in this exhibition. Explore their work,
and then join Chipstone Foundation curator Ethan Lasser for a
tour at 8:30 p.m.
“THE TOOLS OF OUR HANDS”
Don’t miss this one-night-only exhibition of work created using
one tool alone. See how UWM jewelry and metalsmithing
students interpreted the challenge presented in The Tool at
88.9 RADIO MILWAUKEE
Jam out with Jordan Lee.
